The following are the categories of membership of the Physiological Society of Nigeria:
ORDINARY (REGULAR) MEMBERSHIP – All Scientists in Nigeria who are actively engaged in the teaching and practice of physiological sciences (i.e. Physiology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, e.t.c) are eligible for ordinary membership.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP – Physiological scientists who reside outside Nigeria are eligible for associate membership
HONORARY MEMBERSHIP- Honorary membership of PSN is extended to distinguished scientists of any country who have contributed to the advancement of Physiological Sciences in Nigeria.
STUDENT MEMBERSHIP: Graduate students who are not yet engaged in teaching at University level are eligible for Student membership

Registered members are entitled to:
- Free copies of all issues of the Nigerian Journal of Physiological Sciences
- Reduced registration fees at all meetings of the Physiological Society of Nigeria
- Membership certificate and Number
- Grant opportunities
Dates and applications
Membership dues rates are valid through December 31 each year. Membership extends January 1 to December 31, regardless of when you join. In order to enjoy society benefits for membership, we must receive your membership dues by January 31 of each year.
